Consider the possibility that someone gave you 1,000,000 dollars and you can only spend it on a charitable cause of your choosing. When choosing your topic, consider different concerns that have directly affected your life.
Perhaps you would consider one of these health concerns:
Alzheimers Disease, Breast Cancer, Sickle Cell Anemia, Childhood Leukemia, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, AIDS
Or, consider a social behavior concern:
Texting while driving, Drinking and Driving, Smoking, Gun Violence in schools, Cyber bullying
Or focus in on a problem that specifically effects your age group:
Teen suicide, teen depression, teen addiction, teen pregnancy, teen drop out rate, teen gun violence
You can choose any topic and have it approved by Mrs. Overly.
Afterwards, you will need to prove that this 'issue' really is a problem. Create a ten question list that you will use to answer in proving this issue is a problem.
